When you arrive at the GPCOG Parcel Viewer web page, the lower left portion of your screen will display the map area available for viewing at its full extent. To begin, you may choose to use the query tools available on the right side of the web page. You may search by address, owner, or parcel ID by clicking on the search tab for each feature. To return to this main search feature at any time, simply click the search button in the top menu or at the bottom of the search menu area. To return to the map view displayed when you first arrived to the Parcel Viewer, simply click the full extent button in the top menu. You can also see a smaller version of the full extent map by clicking the overview map button in the top menu. This will display the full extent map, at any time, in the upper left of the map frame. The area you see displayed in the map frame is indicated on the overview map with a red boundary. You can turn the function off at any time by clicking the overview map button. You can move around the map by moving the red box around the overview map. You may also change the map displayed by dragging your pointer in the map frame area (using your mouse) while holding down your left mouse button (Windows users). This creates a boundary outlined in red. When you release the left mouse button, that boundary outlined in red becomes the boundaries of the map now displayed. You can continue to do this until the map can zoom in no further. Similarly, you can use the zoom in or zoom out functions using the same operations. To do so, first click the zoom in or zoom out button in the top menu. Now your pointer can either zoom in or out (whichever you choose) the area you outline with the pointer upon release of the left mouse button. At any time, you may identify a parcel (if information for this area is available), by clicking the identify button in the top menu. Your pointer will become a finger icon. Click on an area you want to identify, and the parcel information will be displayed in the lower right hand frame on the web page. You may change the elements that are visible and active on the map displayed. If you click the legend tab in the upper right hand corner of the web page, a menu will appear in a frame below. Here you can select or deselect a number of layers that appear on the map. To view your selections, click the "refresh map" button at the bottom of the frame. If you need further
